Individual Therapy
Clients seeking therapy at Harmony Healing often come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and unsure of how to cope with life’s challenges. At Harmony Healing, I use evidence-based approaches such as EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. I believe in adapting the therapy approach to each individual client based on their needs and goals.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy where a client briefly focuses on a negative experience while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (my clients typically prefer tactile stimulation such as hand buzzers, but eye movements are also always an option).
EMDR is currently one of the most empirically supported treatments for trauma, and continued research has shown that EMDR is highly effective in treating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, phobias, panic attacks, grief, and dissociation. EMDR works by engaging the brain’s natural healing process to help you feel more balanced and in control of your emotional well-being.
